Inside a dream
she's running and playing with a smile
swinging on a swing
laughing with another child

then she's sitting next to me
no longer a child
a beautiful young lady
eyes so beautiful and bright

tears well up in my eyes

she smiles and says “be at peace”
I want to take her back home
escape from this dream

turn back time...

she's standing nearby me
now a woman with her child
the child runs off to play
she doesn’t look my way

then a hand lays on my arm
I turned around to see
a beautiful grey lady
eyes so sharp and clear and wise
