In me there's not much left but
you still crawl in my mind
the future is so unsettled
left all my pieces behind
I’m looking at the world through a fog
that blinds me
medications that obscures and blurs my mind
please shake me
please wake me
although the voice within is dulled and bearable
I do fear that I've have lost my soul
look at it another way you can spend time
completely in control
trust the ones who care for you and then in time
see clearly all your goals
clearing off the fog will come, the mind adjusts
much better every turn
don't think that you’ll burn as bright, too bright
and you will probably just burn
remember just to keep yourself in check
health or hell you can discern
so I feel I’m
calling, bawling, crawling
nothing to say
stalling, falling, sprawling
no light with the day
hauling, brawling, mauling
myself to the grave
I need to be
to be to need
to plant the seed
and then succeed
indeed
so see the world through brand new eyes
new colors, lights and feelings will take hold
and one day, this today
will be a long, long, time ago
so I must stop
calling, bawling, crawling
nothing to say
stalling, falling, sprawling
no light with the day
hauling, brawling, mauling
myself to the grave
I need to be
to be to need
to plant the seed
and then succeed
indeed
and now the voice is dulled and bearable
I hope to move on and find my soul
I'm released shake me
I'm released wake me
looking at the world now it is clear and bright and true
might even just smile away there’s nothing better to do
calling, bawling, crawling
nothing to say
stalling, falling, sprawling
no light with the day
